Following fourteen years working in the Further Education (FE) and Higher Education (HE) sectors as a lecturer in music (specialising in composition, ethnomusicology and songwriting among others) I left to explore other avenues. Having visited my son’s nursery once a week to sing with the toddlers I found that I had a gift for working with the very young. I could make them sing, I could make the dance and most wonderfully, I could make them laugh. So began gathering other preschool and primary school clients and I now work with children full time. I work in Norfolk, Cambridgeshire and Lincolnshire, however my work has taken me to Suffolk and as far away as New Zealand. I am affectionately referred to as The Music Man by all the children I work with. I am also a part-time teacher at Denver Primary School in Norfolk where I teach music and creative writing, as well as running a school choir. Supporting my work with children I have written lots of children’s songs and plays which have been performed all over the world.

If you would like to book me to educate and entertain your pupils, please contact me.

Starting in January I will also be running programmes with sufferers of early on-set dementia, for further information, please contact me.
